Can I paint an artificial christmas tree?

Posted by admin on Feb 8, 2010 under artificial christmas trees

I’d like to make my artificial tree white. Has anybody ever tried this? If so, what kind of paint? Any tips appreciated..! Thanks!

you know they do come in white… id just buy a white one. spraypainting something with so many crevices will be messy and costly. try ebay, i saw a few on there.

i have never tried it but i would say any spray paint from walmart should work just try it and see it shouldn’t be that hard just remember to spray the paint outside cause spraying something that big will get everywhere good luck and merry christmas

Why not just spray parts of it white, so it will look like snow. Then next year watch the garage sales for a white one.

yes you can paint it!! SPRAY PAINT! just do light coats until the desired color is reached. you can paint it any color in the rainbow. i did this for a party once. it works, it just takes a while to do the coats without it getting runny. spray, wait spray, wait. it won’t hurt it, its fake!
